Tofa, Shalom!

Some tears were shed in Room 10 this afternoon when Shalom popped in to say "tofa", "haere rā", "farewell". Shalom is moving to Australia with her family after five years of learning at Ruapotaka. Everyone wishes you the best of luck in Sydney, Shalom, as you begin a new school and new life in a new country. We will miss you!

    1. Kia ora, Shalom! It is great to hear from you. We all miss you in Room 10. What is like in your new school? How many people are there in your class? What sports are you doing? Mrs Buchanan sang the Australian national anthem on ANZAC Day.

    2. Hey,it's good to hear from you too, sorry 4 the late reply. So the sport I'm doing is netball for School and we have a netball game Friday. In my class there's around 27 students in my class. Dawson public school, the students are really different to you guys, so the students back-chat to teachers, they actually play with fire.At this school we have 3 breaks, so we have Recess,Lunch and afternoon tea. It's really good to hear that Mrs Buchanan sang the Australian national anthem. I actually didn't know the lyrics to the national anthem until about 3 weeks later. PLEASE REPLY
