As ANZAC Day falls during the school holidays, Ruapotaka held a special assembly on Friday to remember all the soldiers and nurses who travelled to foreign lands to serve New Zealand during World War I. We remembered by wearing our poppies and by listening to students read poems. Prudence read her ANZAC poem on behalf of Room 10.
Welcome to our blog which shares the learning and celebrates the successes of our amazing Year 5 and 6 learners in Room 10 from 2014-2016. We are part of the Manaiakalani cluster in Panmure, Auckland, and have taken huge pleasure in sharing our digital learning journey over this time. Kia ora!

Remembering at Ruapotaka

I know you have learnt a lot about ANZAC room 10. The museum is a wonderful place to visit, maybe you could visit again with your family. Dora read her poem clearly at our school service.
